This is my first mission trip, and I am so excited! I have heard about all the wonderful experiences from many team members who have gone before, and now it is my turn to create experiences of my own and serve God’s children.
I am most excited to meet all the children at the school and share our love for God. I also heard that there are cute monkeys in the jungle that will perch on your shoulder. Maybe I will even be able to pet the monkeys!
Right now we are on the bus, heading to the airport and I truly feel the compassion of God as I embark on this journey. I am thankful for all the blessings and prayers my family and friends have shared with me. I can’t wait to share my new experiences with everyone once I get to Ecuador.
