Day 1 Eyes Wide Open by Spencer Bard

Today, the missions team left Quito and traveled to the village of Misahualli. Before we left, a leader of a local missions organization, Boris Salinas, shared his testimony of growing up on the streets of Quito, and how he is working today to combat human trafficking and spread the love of Christ to those in similar situations. The testimony provided some much needed perspective on a world much larger than we knew existed before today. We are very excited about how God may use us this week!

    Team ~
Nothing warms your heart, more than children learning about Jesus, and the unconditional Love which you shared with them. I am a friend of Mr. Russell, and I’d like to tell you all, that I was deeply honored that you all represented our Lord in a manner that made me proud to be a part of the trip. Thank you so very much for all the work you all did; you fulfilled your mission ~ You did what Jesus asked, “Go and Tell”, well done team ! ! ! !
So where next? return trip, or spreading the Gospel in another part of the world? :)…cam
